“Building our Free Little Library was such a fun experience for my sister and I to complete together, along with our dad. We’ve seen how much our neighbourhood really embraced the last one we made so we were very proud to bring this new one that can hold more books, will last a long time, and has some personal touches from our neighbours. The opening day for our Little Library went so well! Our vision was to bring out our library and have everyone paint on it anything they wanted so that everyone could add their personal touch to it, and so it would really feel like a community project. It ended up looking so amazing, we had multiple people come over and add things throughout the morning, and two young girls helped us for most of the morning to completely cover the library in beautiful colours and pictures. For us this was such a fun way to hear peoples stories of the books they were planning on adding, or the books they’ve already read from the old li.le library. All in all we had a fantastic morning and we are so excited to have our new Free Little Library open for everyone to use.
