Brent is currently the Executive Director of Rural Health with Alberta Primary and Preventative Health Services and has served as Assistant Deputy Minister in three Alberta Ministries, Labour, Service Alberta, and most recently Alberta Health. Brent is a relationship builder, has a passion for governance and has enjoyed working with over 250 Rural Utilities Boards and 20 Agricultural Boards and Commissions. Also, Brent is currently Vice President of the St. John’s Fraternal Society, the philanthropic arm of all the Ukrainian Orthodox Parishes in Edmonton.

Brent, his wife Laurel and two boys, Bryce and Troy have spent over 20 years in Fairmont Hot Springs enjoying all that the Columbia Valley has to offer and look forward to giving back to the community in any way they can. Brent and Laurel, both former Ukrainian Shumka Dancers, enjoy golfing and kayaking the many amazing courses and tributaries throughout the valley.
