Thiloma brings a wealth of experience to the Columbia Valley Community Foundation. As a Chartered Public Accountant, she has honed her skills through roles in public practice and in not-for profit organizations (in management and at the board level). Her professional journey has equipped her with the expertise and insight needed to contribute effectively to the Foundation’s mission. Thiloma offers a fresh perspective on community development and is enthusiastic about fostering connections among residents.
Together with her husband Grant, Thiloma opened Four Points Books in Invermere in 2022 and added a location in Golden in January 2024. These independent stores are beloved local hubs, providing a space for community members to connect, learn, and share their love of reading.
Outside of work, Thiloma enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Columbia Valley with family and friends, driving her two children to sporting events and of course, reading. Her love for the community and its people drives her ongoing efforts to contribute positively to the area she now proudly calls home.
